If there are any braillenote mpower users here I hope this question hasn't been asked to death. I just got my mpower transplant and have been consistently unable to play all compatible sound files. If the downloads are on a card or a usb stick it plays fine, I have yet to try streaming audio or any of the radio stations. The files start playing and then stop completely. I have to reset the machine. Any help will be appreciated. I keep all internet files clear as well as any hidden files. On very rare days I get 1 song out of the thing. All hail technology. Thank you everyone.Peace Tiffany
that's weird, because when I play songs on my MPower, It works fine. I suggest You send it back and have them fix it. If you need anymore help, please let me know.
yes i say send it back and tell them the same thing you told on here. if you do not use the media player verry often and you do not want to send it back then well you got a mpower that can not play music. but really tell them what you said on here and maybe they will know how to fix the problem.
hmmm, this is very wierd. i have an MPower myself, and have never had this problem. check with humanware about it.
I guess this is an obvious question, and probably u tried it already, but have u tried one of the other resets with the keys and the restet button? I forget the command for the qt now, since I never had to do any resets with it and only learned it to teach a consumer, but if u have the bt version, press reset and hold dots 1 2 3 throughout the reset process. If that doesn't work, try again with dots 4 5 6. Have u tried those as well?
plus with the MPower there is the service reset. hold down both the record and reset buttons for at least five seconds.
I have note experienced this problem with my MPower. What version of keysoft are you using? The latest is version 7.2.
That's weird, Because mine does not usually do that
I wouldn't do a service reset. If you do, First call humanware at 1800-722-3393. They say that you should only do a service reset under technical support supervision. Besides, I tride reset with record when my mpower wasn't working and nothing happened.
Thank you everyone. After awhile it decided it would play sound files & I've been getting lost in 1920s jazz. Okay, can anyone tell me how to save mp3 files on the mpower? I've tried the save command and giving it the right file name and the media player thinks it's a textfile. I'm running keysoft 7.0. I don't have an sd card so I can't upgrade. Thanks for your help. Peace. Tiffany
when it asks you for a file name try typing the name such as the song name then .mp3 then hit enter and it should show up in the media center
